lorettapolaski_lowres-6-headshot-fav-2016 copyLoretta writes primarily historical suspense, short stories, and occasionally a little poetry. She’s a former writer for Inquisitr, reporting on crime. You can read those articles here. She’s a charter member of the Midwest Writers Workshop and a member of the International Thriller Writers

Loretta has a passion for the classics and reads them more often than contemporary fiction. She’s a big fan of Fyodor Dostoyevsky and has read almost all of his work. Her favorite, Crime and Punishment, she’s read several times. She’s also a fan of Patricia Highsmith. Noticing a theme here? The anti-hero.

When not writing, Loretta is an ER nurse and enjoys gardening. She earned her nursing degree from Indiana University. Her writing degree from Midwest Writer’s Workshop! 😉 Her gardening degree from trial and error!
