Loretta Polaski writes suspense. She’s a former writer for Inquisitr with more than 70 articles on crime. She’s a charter member of the Midwest Writers Workshop and Mystery Writers of America.
Loretta’s favorite authors are Margaret Atwood, Patricia Highsmith, Alice Feeney, Layne Fargo, and Paula Hawkins. She has a passion for the classics and reads them as often as contemporary fiction. She’s a big fan of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Loretta likes something a little off-center with her characters.
When not writing, Loretta is an ER nurse and enjoys gardening and crocheting. She earned her nursing degree from Indiana University. Her writing degree from Midwest Writer’s Workshop. Her gardening degree from trial and error.
